Good to know about this route
The Chisinau to Iasi journey covers 151 km, roughly 3 hr on the road. Border and documents
We enter Romania at Leușeni — Albița, the main crossing between Moldova and Romania. Clearance usually takes 20–40 minutes. Your driver handles the border together with you — you barely need to leave the car.
