Border and documents

The border is crossed at Palanca — the fastest checkpoint between Moldova and the Ukrainian coast. Clearance usually takes 20–40 minutes, longer on holidays. Your driver monitors queues online and switches to a neighbouring crossing when it saves time. A valid passport is all you need; children travel with a birth certificate or passport.

Which class to choose

For a long haul we recommend Business, Premium or the V-Class minivan: deeply reclining seats, a quiet cabin and generous luggage space make an all-day journey genuinely comfortable. Up to two stops en route are included; Wi-Fi and water are always on board.
